Presented by Studio T Arts, The Legends of Dance Workshop welcomes Sacramento community members of all ages (open to the public) for a complimentary dance workshop honoring Legendary Dance Icon Popin’ Pete and celebrating the launch of his new digital training platform and official website PopinPete.com. The exhilarating outdoor workshop will culminate in a high-energy Freestyle Circle.

Studio T Arts embarks on a mission to protect and support legends of dance history. Celebrating the official launch of PopinPete.com and his ‘Dance With Legend Popin Pete’ Patreon course membership, Studio T Arts brings dance lovers up close and personal with the dance icon.

As President of Studio T Urban Dance Academy and Founder of The California National Day of Dance, Tamaira “Miss Tee” Sandifer serves over 5,000 youth in school districts throughout Northern California every year through educational partnerships and enrichment programs related to physical as well as mental and emotional health.

Dance Icon Popin Pete has been dancing for over 40 years and has worked with multiple music superstars from Michael Jackson to Justin Timberlake. He has also appeared in movies like the 1984 classic movie Breakin’; and is a second-generation member of the famous Electric Boogaloos, joining the group in 1978.

Founded by Miss Tee in 2005, Studio T Arts offers a proven, confidence building approach to developing a solid mastery of essential dance skills for aspiring dancers. An elite training facility for dancers of all ages, Studio T also provides underserved and at-risk youth a life-changing opportunity to learn life skills and job skills in creative services such as video editing, videography, and photography.

Studio T Arts past students have traveled the world with artists and celebrities including Justin Beiber, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Usher, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Ellen, and more. Graduates have also been seen on the stages of MTV Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, BET Awards and more.

Miss Tee conceived The California National Day of Dance to highlight the diversity and the power of unity through creativity. has trained many of Hollywood’s most sought after young dancers including the 2016 winner of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, 2018 World of Dance stars and members of the Jabbawakeez.

Baltimore dance heavyweight TSU Terry has performed at the historic Apollo Theater, and opened up for artists Like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, Meek Mill, Azalea Banks and Kali Uchis
